How to create a Sub Domain in cPanel Hosting

Let us know how to create sub domain if you have a cPanel Hosting Plan.


For Old cPanel Version

  • Login to cPanel (If unsure, ask your hosting provider)
  • Navigate and Click on ‘Domains’ option
  • Click on ‘Create A New Domain’ button
  • Write your sub domain name that you would like to create (Example: If your primary / main domain is example.com then write with suffix like new.exampl.com or test.example.com.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button and it is done 🙂

Important Note: It is important for you to type the full name along with sub-domain name.


For New cPanel Version

  • Login to cPanel (If unsure, ask your hosting provider)
  • Navigate and click on ‘Sub Domains’ option
  • Write your sub domain name that you would like to create (Example: If your primary / main domain is example.com then simply write with suffix like ‘new’, ‘test’ or the name which you would want to make as your new sub-domain).
  • Click on ‘Create’ button and it is done 🙂

Important Note: It is important for you to type ONLY the sub-domain name not the main domain name.
